Blog 13: 10 Hour Mentorship Check-In

1.   Where are you doing your mentorship?

At the moment I am shadowing for my mentorship and observing the step by step process of the loan process.

2.   Who is your contact?  What makes this person an expert?

My contact is Cindy Ruiz and what makes her qualified is that she has been a loan officer for a few years and handles car loans

3.   How many  hours have you done during the school year? (Summer Mentorship Hours and Mentorship Hours should be reflected separately in your Senior Project Hours log located on the right hand side of your blog).

I have 27 total hours, 16 from my summer mentorship and 11 so far from mentoring during the school year.

4.   Succinctly summarize what you did, how well you and your mentor worked together, and how you plan to complete the remaining hours.

During the hours that I spent mentoring I shadowed as well as go over some loan files and paper that clients have to sign and send in order for the loan process to occur. I plan to hopefully get more hands on experience when mentoring although it is hard to do so due to the fact that this job is 100% commission
